MOVING SAFELY

The health and safety of our people, our customers, and the public is our most important priority. To ensure the safety of our stakeholders, our drivers are subject to comprehensive training and testing, conducted by qualified staff. Our safety standards meet National regulations and safety standards for our industry.

+ COR Certified

The Certificate of Recognition (COR) program is the ultimate accreditation to verify that a company has implemented a comprehensive health and safety program. This process is audited by an external auditor and helps ensure that companies maintain a higher standard of health and safety in the workplace. The benefit of COR that we see is that we have stronger employee engagement, awareness, and retention.

+ ELD Equipped

Electronic Logging Device is hardware that is attached to a commercial vehicle’s ECM for the purpose of recording driving time. The system is intended to help create a safe work environment for the drivers and allow them to easily track and manage driving time. Additionally, it ensures that employees are complying with the hours of service regulations.

+ App-Based Safety Program

Site Docs is a safety compliance tool that allows an employee to access our Safety Management System. It enables an employee to have instant access to forms such as inspections, job hazard analysis documents, near miss reports and accident reporting. It also provides employee access to company resources such as policies, procedures, and health and safety meeting minutes.

+ Dash Camera Equipped

We have installed dash cameras into our fleet of vehicles. These cameras provide a video telematics and fleet management solution that helps improve driver safety using intelligent dash camera technology. The camera detects risky driving behavior events such as following too close, lane departure, speeding, vehicle roll stability, and hard brake events. From this information, we are able to coach and mentor drivers to eliminate risky driving behavior and improve the safety for the motoring public on our highways.

+ Driver Assistance Program

We understand that personal matters can affect the work performance and health and safety of an employee. That is why we have implemented a confidential driver assistance program to offer support when an employee is in need. Drivers have access to support, guidance, and assistance 24/7.
